from aspiring to inspiring lawyers!
Law City was founded in 2019 to provide access and information about the legal industry to future lawyers, by connecting them with legal professionals in the City of London.
We do this by holding events to give students from low socio-economic backgrounds the opportunity to meet leading legal professionals and gain insights into the legal world.
We also deliver interactive workshops which engage young people in discussions and provide help in developing their legal careers.

Matrix hosted a successful Law City Insight into Law event in January this year. Our Equality and Diversity Officer, Isabel Baylis, sat on the panel in a discussion on careers in the legal industry and I spoke about myself as Chief Executive of Matrix and my career journey.
At Matrix we were very happy to support Law City for this event as the organization plays an important role in helping students and young people gain a better understanding of different areas of law, as well as how to start a career in the legal industry
